This objective is achieved by persuading women of all walks of life to strive to live productive, orderly and dignified lives with wholesome character. This organization promotes unity among women, unity within the family, career enhancement, community service and leadership development, through monthly motivational speaking and seminars, quarterly empowerment rallies, annual conferences and through demonstration of those that are participants. Ms. Tyson advises clients about colors and types of makeup, and instructs them in makeup application techniques. Talbot Tutorial Service is owned and operated by Barbara Talbot. Ms. Talbot is a certified math teacher and specializes in middle and high school math with a diverse population of students and adults. She provides instructional support for students individually or in small groups. She encourages students to develop confidence and to become more independent learners. Ms. Talbot teaches students skills in Mathematics, assists with the Math computers, creation of handout materials, and web site materials. Ms. Talbot is an expert at facilitating learning as a guide and coach to assist the student to become a successful, independent learner. The purpose of tutoring is to increase and enhance mastery of concepts or applications of a specific course of study. Ms. Talbot integrates effective study and learning strategies to maximize the tutee’s potential for academic progress.
